Dose Administration Aids (Webster-pak®)

Take the stress and uncertainty out of taking daily medicines. We prepare tamper-evident, sealed weekly blister packs that organise each dose by morning, lunch, dinner, and bedtime.

What the service involves

1A preliminary consultation to review your current valid prescriptions with your doctor.
2Establishing a synchronized packing cycle so your repeat scripts run concurrently without gaps.
3Dispensary team carefully packing and double-checking each individual blister compartment.
4Sealing the pack with clear patient labelling, medicine descriptions, and storage instructions.
5Providing a fresh pack each week, with seamless handling of any dose adjustments requested by your doctor.

Who it may be suitable for

Older community members living independently at home who want confidence in their daily routine.
Family members and carers seeking peace of mind that loved ones are taking medication as directed.
Patients recovering from stroke, cardiac surgery, or hospitalisation managing complex new regimens.
Anyone who occasionally forgets whether they took their morning or evening tablets.

How to prepare for your visit

Ask your GP for up-to-date prescriptions covering all regular ongoing medicines.
Bring in any remaining medication boxes you have at home so our pharmacist can synchronize your supplies.
Provide our team with your treating clinic's contact details so we can liaise directly regarding repeats.

Fees & Subsidies

A modest weekly packing fee applies to cover professional packaging materials and clinical reconciliation. Government subsidies under the 6CPA/7CPA Dose Administration Aid program may be available for eligible patients.

Clinical Limitations & Safety Information

Certain medicines cannot be packed in blister packs due to moisture sensitivity, refrigeration needs (e.g., insulin), or liquid formulation. Our pharmacist will clearly identify these and advise safe concurrent administration.

Service FAQs

Simply contact us immediately. Bring your current pack into the pharmacy and our team will liaise with your doctor and re-pack your medication to reflect the new instructions safely.
